    The Short-Span Compression Tester is a precision testing instrument specifically designed for measuring the short-span compression strength (SCT or CS) of paper and paperboard. Compression Strength CS (Compression Strength) = kN/m, i.e., the maximum compressive force divided by the specimen width of 15 mm. The instrument uses a high-precision pressure sensor for excellent measurement accuracy. Its open design allows samples to be easily placed on the testing port. The pneumatic automatic sample clamping system features adjustable clamping pressure. The built-in touchscreen control system supports Chinese, English, and other language interfaces for selecting test methods and displaying measurement values and compressive strength curves. The specimen width is 15±0.1 mm, with selectable measuring ranges of 100N, 200N, and 500N. The compression distance is 0.7±0.05 mm (automatically adjusted), the clamping length is 30±0.5 mm, the test speed is 3±0.1 mm/min, and the accuracy is 0.15N or 0.01 kN/m.
